Stanley Nance

Charles Stanley Nance, age 86, formerly of Asheboro, died Friday, February 17, 2012 at Forsyth Medical Center in Winston- Salem. Mr. Nance was born September 13, 1925 in Randolph County, NC, the son of Eulice and Nettie Coltrane Nance. He was retired from Union Carbide in Asheboro and was preceded in death by his brothers, Clinton and Spencer Nance and a sister, Catherine Nance. He is survived by his daughter, Gilna Allred and her husband David of Corpus Christy, TX, Sons, Steve Nance and his wife, Melody of Kernersville and Terry Nance and his wife, Pam of Oak Ridge, NC, Granddaughters, Jolie Nance of Black Mountain, NC and Laura Nance of Greensboro, NC, Grandson, Tyler Nance of Asheville, NC, Sister: Lyde Small and her husband, Earl of Randleman, NC, and Brother, Waie Nance and his wife, Ruth of Asheboro, NC. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 21 at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park.
