Shirley Gibson Johnson, age 66, of 44661 Morrow Mtn. Road, Albemarle died Tuesday, August 17, 2010 at Carolinas Medical Center Northeast, Concord. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 21, 2010 at 5:00 PM at the Pugh-Troy Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeremy Sipe officiating. Burial will be in the Dover Baptist Church Cemetery in Star, NC. Mrs. Johnson was a native of Botetourt County, VA and was of the Pentecostal Holiness faith. She was self-employed as a beautician and was preceded in death by her husband, Leonard Johnson. She is survived by her daughters, Laura Sipe and Sandra Miller both of Elkton, VA, Vickie Greene of Asheboro, NC, Diane Stoker of Badin, NC and Tracey Hurley of Star, NC; son, Michael Johnson of Norwood, NC; 19 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren The family will receive friends on Friday, August 20, 2010 from 7:00 - 9:00 PM at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy, NC and other times at the home of her daughter, Diane Stoker, 32134 Valley Dr., Albemarle, NC.
