Shirley Harmon Hall

Shirley Harmon Hall, age 75, of Asheboro died Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at Carolina House of Asheboro. The family will receive friends on Friday, November 14, 2014 from 12:30-1:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will follow on Friday at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Spaulding officiating. Burial will be in the Seagrove Christian Church Cemetery. Ms. Hall was born in Asheboro on August 30, 1939 to George Ervin and Annie Needham Harmon, who preceded her in death. Shirley was formerly employed with Union Carbide and enjoyed keeping children at her home. She attended Calvary United Methodist Church. She is survived by her sons, David Pendry and wife Kim of Asheboro, Grant Hall and wife Molly of Durham, Jason P. Hall of Asheboro; grandchildren, Jessica Pendry, Nina Hall, Matthew Pendry, Stephen Pendry, and Holden Hall. The family would like to express a special thanks to Community Home Care & Hospice and the staff of Carolina House for their loving care and concern during her illness.
