Shirley Ann Coggins, age 67, of Asheboro died Tuesday, December 12, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House.
Miss Coggins was born March 17, 1950 in Randolph County to Mont and Frances Coggins. She was employed with Klaussner Furniture and was a charter member of the Randolph County Sheltered Workshop in Asheboro.
She is survived by her sisters, Bonnie Coggins Smith of Asheboro, Phyllis Coggins Hames and husband Terry of Greensboro, Cathy T. Coggins and Kelvin Carter of Winston-Salem; brother, Mont Paul Coggins, Jr. and wife Damaris of Asheboro; nieces, Michelle Cross and husband Robert of Asheboro, Dawn Redmon Jones and Bobby Strickland of Asheboro, Monica Torres and husband Nelson of Asheboro, Victoria Newnam and husband Jason of Asheboro, Lea Coggins of Asheboro; nephews, Stephen Smith and wife Karen of Ramseur, Bo Redmon and wife Nicole of Asheboro, Scott Redmon and wife Heather of Summerfield, Zachary Coggins and fiancé Emily Wise of Pleasant Garden, Favio Coggins of Asheboro, Ian Coggins of Asheboro.
The family will receive friends Thursday, December 14, 2017 from 6 to 8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 15, 2017 at 3:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Bo Redmon officiating. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery.
