Shirley Mae Bodiford

Shirley Mae Marley Bodiford, age 68, of Asheboro died Friday, April 22, 2016 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation in Asheboro. Mrs. Bodiford was born May 25, 1947 in Asheboro the daughter of Mildred Marley Pugh. Shirley was a native of Randolph County. She retired from Walker Shoe Co. of Asheboro. She is preceded in death by her mother, Mildred Marley Pugh. She is survived by her husband: Gordon Curtis Bodiford, Jr.; daughters: Sherry B. Hill and husband Eddy Jr. of Denton, Alisha "Shelly" Garner and husband Ken of Seagrove; brother: Perry Luther Marley and wife Linda of Archdale; 5 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. The family will receive friends on Monday, April 25, 2016 from 12:00-1:30 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. The graveside service will be held following the visitation at 2:00 pm at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Rev. Bruce Dickerson officiating.
