Sherman Franklin Ragsdale

Sherman Ragsdale, age 70, of 2453 Rockwood Rd., Asheboro died Friday, February 1, 2008 at his home. Funeral service will be held Monday, February 4, 2008 at 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kelly Toth officiating. Burial with military honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard will follow in Randolph Memorial Park. Mr. Ragsdale was a native of Randolph County and a US Navy veteran. He was formerly employed with Burlington Industries and is presently employed with Asheboro Ford Lincoln Mercury. He is survived by his wife, Doris Auman Ragsdale; son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Mary Ragsdale of Greensboro, NC; daughter, April Dawn Reyes of Randleman, NC; grandchildren, Heather Brewer, Steven Brune, Abril Reyes, Yolanda Reyes; sisters, Lois Kearns and Jo Ann Anthony both of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends Sunday, February 3, 2008 from 7 to 9 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC, other times at his home.
