Shelley Rayne Hodgin

Shelley Rayne Hodgin, age 40, of Randleman died Saturday, February 8, 2014 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mrs. Hodgin was born December 19, 1973 the daughter of Richard and Jackie Nelson Hodgin. Ms. Hodgin was a native of Randolph County and was a graduate of Randleman High School. She attended Brookstone College for two years studying medical assistant technology. Shelley attended South Plainfield Friends Meeting and was an avid turkey hunter. She was a waitress and had made many friends throughout the years. In addition to her parents, Shelley is survived by her fiancé: Randall Howell of Randleman, and his extended family, Nicholas (Meredith) Howell, Buck (Jennifer) Howell and Greg (Diane) Davis, 2 grandchildren: Paul and Jackie Davis; grandmother: Ina Nelson of Sophia and her very special canine friends: Piper, Leo and Jake; many aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and extended families. Also two close friends: Tina Paskel and Pat Edwards. The family would like to thank, John and Lisa, Max and Julie Hooker and Pat Roberson for their love and close friendship and care for Shelley. The family will receive friends Monday, February 10, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will be held Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at 2:00 PM at South Plainfield Friends Meeting, 4033 Plainfield Road, Sophia with Rev. Hugh C. Spaulding officiating.
