Shelia Faye Sheffield

Shelia Faye Yow Sheffield, age 63, of Asheboro died Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at Randolph Health in Asheboro.

Mrs. Sheffield was a native of Randolph County and was employed with Elastic Therapy. She was a member of Christian Fellowship Church. Mrs. Sheffield was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a loving friend who would always extend a helping hand. Mrs. Sheffield was preceded in death by her father, Jesse Yow, sister, Debra Yow and granddaughter, Aniston Williams.

She is survived by her husband, Grady Sheffield; daughters, Angela Williams and husband Michael of Seven Lakes, Jennifer Jones and husband Michael of Asheboro; son, Jonathan Brown and wife LeAnn of Ramseur; step-son, Terry Sheffield and wife Jenell of Marshville; mother, Faye Maness Yow of Asheboro; grandchildren, Morgan and Landon Williams, Tyler, Dylan and Dalton Brown, Caleb, Katie and Jaylan Jones, Ryder and Gander Sheffield; sister, Cynthia Caviness and husband Norman of Asheboro; sister-in-law, Nola Laughlin and husband Allen of Asheboro.

The family will receive friends Friday, September 8, 2017 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Saturday at 11:00 AM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Hunt officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Memorial Gardens.
