Shelia Ann Foxx, age 60, of Asheboro died Monday, February 17, 2014.
Ms. Foxx was born in Chatham County to Ralph and Mozelle Foxx. She was retired due to disability from Asheboro City Schools after 25 years of service. Shelia attended Central United Methodist Church and Kingdom Life Community Church, where she was a member. She was a loving, caring, giving but private person keeping her problems and health issues to herself.
She is survived by son, Aljamek Pugh of Asheboro; sisters, Glennis Foxx of Asheboro, Melodie Banks and husband David of Raleigh, Cynthia Cole and husband Edgar of Randleman, Denise Brower and husband Perry of Robbins; brother, Tony Foxx of Maryland; grandchildren, D'asja Pugh, Darian Jones; nieces, Stacey, Jasmine, Pamela and Mirissa; nephews, Shawn and Brandon; aunts, Christine Williams and Alberta Henderson.
The family will receive friends Thursday, February 20, 2014 from 1:00 - 2:00 PM at Central United Methodist Church, 300 S. Main St., Asheboro. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Bishop Michael Trogdon officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Calvary Cemetery, Asheboro.
