Sheila Chrisco Wright

Sheila Gaye Wright, age 51, of 1085 Crestview Church Road, Asheboro died Saturday, September 10, 2011 at UNC Hospitals, Chapel Hill. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 16, 2011 at 11:00 am at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery. Mrs. Wright was born June 5, 1960 in Randolph County to John and Mildred Freeman Chrisco. She worked as a Respiratory Therapist at Moore Regional Hospital and was a member of Center Cross Baptist Church. During her daughter's school years, Sheila has volunteered at Teachey Elementary, South Asheboro Middle and Asheboro High School. She was an avid fan of Friday night football at Asheboro High School. She is survived by her husband, Robert Wright; daughter, Ashley Wright of the home; brother, Derek Chrisco and his wife Lori of Chapel Hill; nephew, Justin Chrisco of Chapel Hill; mother & father-in-law, Barbara T. and George Smallwood of Springfield, MO. The family will receive friends Thursday, September 15, 2011 from 6 to 8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
