Savannah Cruthis Davis

Savannah Cruthis Davis, age 87, of 1104 Clay St., Asheboro died Friday, March 19, 2010 at High Point Regional Hospital. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 22, 2010 at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Hauk officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park. Mrs. Davis was a native of Jamestown and was a homemaker. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerome Hayes Davis and her son, Harold Lee Davis. She is survived by her daughters, Virginia Marie Cranford of Randleman, NC, Mata Jane Vanhuss of Randleman, NC; sons, Hayes Clyde "Bud" Davis of Tennessee, Jimmy Darrell Davis of Randleman, NC, Robert Lee Davis of Randleman, NC, Charles Edward Tomlinson of Archdale, NC; 20 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and her special friend James Cooper. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 21, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC, and other times at the home of Mata Vanhuss at 3326 Rumbley Pine St. Randleman.
