Sarah Elizabeth Boswell Shaw, age 92, of Asheboro died Friday, April 10, 2015 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro.
Mrs. Shaw was born in Caswell County, NC to John and Susie Wilson Boswell. She was retired from Bost Neckwear in Asheboro. She and her husband operated Worth Shaw Photography until the mid 1980's. She was a member of Foster Street Wesleyan Church, and formerly attended Grace United Methodist and West Bend United Methodist Churches. She was preceded in death by her husband, Worth O. Shaw, her son, W. Odell Shaw, Jr., and her daughter, Anna S. Price.
She is survived by her son & daughter in law, Carson and his wife, Elaine Shaw of Asheboro; son & daughter in law, Dennis and his wife, Pam Shaw of Asheboro; daughter in law, Peggy Shaw of Gibsonville; son in law, Walt Fallon of St. Louis, MO; grandchildren, Rhonda Phillips, Chrystal Coleman, Mickey Shaw, Sherry Bunting, Tracey McDowell, Elizabeth Vaught, Jill Thomas, and Katie Chapman; great grandchildren, Brittany Phillips, Stephen, Kevin, and Christina Boswell, Cassidy Coleman, Peyton McDowell, Breighly, Ella and Charlie Vaught, Dillon Shaw and Addie Shaw, Gavin and Emerson Thomas, and two great great grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, April 14, 2015 from 12:30-1:30PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home chapel with Junior Baker and Rev. Charles Moses officiating.
Burial will be in Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church Cemetery.
