Sara Fitzpatrick Taul

Sara Fitzpatrick Taul, age 91, of Asheboro passed away on Sunday, September 1, 2019 surrounded by her loving family at Cross Road Retirement Community, Asheboro.

Sara was born August 27, 1928 in Madison County, GA the daughter of Asbury C. Fitzpatrick and Annie Minish Fitzpatrick.

Mrs. Taul was a member of First Baptist Church where she formerly worked as the church secretary. Sara was formerly employed with People Savings and Loan and Stedman Manufacturing. She was a strong Christian lady and was very proud of her Southern Heritage. She enjoyed volunteering, was a strong supporter of Cross Road Retirement Center, enjoyed crocheting, cross stitching and quilting.

In addition to her parents, Sara was preceded in death by her husband: Dr. LeRoy Taul, DVM; 1 brother and 2 sisters.

She is survived by her son: Dennis Roy Taul and his wife Kay of Apex; daughter: Lizabeth Miller and husband Randy of Asheboro; grandchildren: Sarabeth (Kyle) Craven, Mary Miller, Keenan (Ashley) Taul, Kelsey Taul; great grandchildren: Reese Craven, Merritt Craven and Adalyn Taul; brother: Jerry (Toni) Fitzpatrick of Metter GA.

The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 4, 2019 from 12:30 - 1:45 PM at First Baptist Church, 133 North Church Street, Asheboro, NC. Funeral services will be follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor Gary Mason officiating.

Burial will be in the Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
