Sandra Elaine Brown Bescher

Sandra Elaine Brown Bescher, age 70 of Randleman, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2025 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro, NC.

Sandra was born on April 27, 1954, at Ft. Bragg, NC, to Rev. Joseph E. Brown and the late Lena Davis Brown. She was a graduate of Asheboro High School and Randolph Community College with a Business Degree. Sandra was a devoted wife of 51 years, a loving mother, and grandmother. 

In her earlier years, she enjoyed horseback riding, cooking, and spelling – just about any word you could think of. During college she met and married the love of her life, Ronnie Bescher, and together they built a beautiful life filled with laughter and cherished memories. They welcomed a son, Bobby, in 1976, who brought immense joy and pride to their family. 

Sandra devoted over 20 years as a manager at McDonald’s, where she received numerous awards and recognition, including employee of the month and crew member of the year, before her retirement in 2023. In retirement, Sandra and Ronnie enjoyed traveling and daily dinner dates, always finding ways to keep their spirits high. She also cherished spending time with her grandchildren. As a family, we would gather around the kitchen table, sharing laughter and memories, as Sandra recounted tales from her childhood, memories made with her grandchildren, and spending time with her granddog, Tyson. Sandra will be deeply missed by her friends and family and her memories will remain in our hearts forever. 

Sandra is survived by her husband Ronnie Lee Bescher of the home; son, Bobby Lee Bescher and wife Amanda of Sophia; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; sisters: Shirley Beckham and husband Donald and Annette Parks and husband Larry; and her father Rev. Joseph E. Brown. She was preceded in death by her mother Lena Davis Brown; brothers: Benny Brown and Phillip Brown; sisters: Libby Wallace and Vivian Saunders; several aunts, uncles, and nephews; and grandparents: Ira & Martha Davis and Orvitt and Lillian Brown.

 A memorial service will be held Monday, February 3, 2025 from 5:30 – 7:30 pm at City of Refuge, 1028 Commonwealth Rd, Randleman, NC 27317 with Pastor Billy and Donna Crisco officiating.
