Sandi Lin Brown

Sandi Lin Brown, age 46, of 3490 NC Highway 134, Asheboro died Saturday, April 17, 2010 at her home. A native of Asheboro, Sandi was a 1981 graduate of Asheboro High School and a 1985 graduate of Western Carolina University. A member of Bethel Friends Meeting, she attended Cross Road Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. She was a teacher at Southwest Middle School where she was an advisor to the Beta Club and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Prior to teaching she worked as a Child Nutritionist with the Randolph County Schools. She was a loving wife, mother, and aunt. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to all who provided such extraordinary support, especially her co-workers at Southwest Middle School. She is survived by her husband: Richard Brown and two sons: Andrew and Tyler Brown of the home, her father, Jesse Ingold of Asheboro, sister and her husband Sherri I. and Marty Floyd of Archdale, NC, brother-in-law, Bruce Lanier of Coleridge, NC; brother-in-law, and his wife Steve and Lori Brown of MD, nephew, Wesley Floyd of Archdale, NC; nephew, Stewart Floyd of Archdale, NC; niece, Allison Floyd of Archdale, NC; niece, Maggi Floyd of Archdale, NC; nephew, Dereck Brown of Raleigh, NC; nephew, Christophe Brown of MD; niece, Janneel Brown of MD. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Ingold and a sister, Holli Lanier. The family will receive friends Monday, April 19th from 6 to 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Tuesday, April 20th at 4:00 PM at Cross Road Baptist Church, 1566 Old Cox Road, Asheboro with Pastor Johnny R. Henderson and Pastor Greg Arnold officiating.
