Sadie Clayton

Sadie Clayton, age 95, of 105 Morris St., Troy died Friday, October 28, 2011 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst. Miss Clayton was born October 16, 1916 in Greensboro, NC the daughter of Zeb and Annie Causey Clayton. Miss Clayton lived most of her life in Troy and was a member of First Wesleyan Church. She was a former textile employee and CNA. She is preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by one sister: Jeanette Poole of Troy; niece: Joy Lee Burns of the home; several other nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2:00 pm until 2:45 pm at First Wesleyan Church, 1368 NC Hwy 134 N, Troy; other time at her residence. The funeral will be Sunday at 3:00 pm at First Wesleyan Church with Rev. Ralph Clayton, Rev. Alex Heafner and Rev. Doug Mullins officiating. Burial will be in Southside Cemetery, South Main Street, Troy. Memorials may be made to First Wesleyan Church, Prueze Center, 1368 NC Highway 134 North, Troy, NC 27371.
