RV Brown

RV Brown, age 85, of Asheboro passed away on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at the Randolph Hospice House.

Mr. Brown was born in North Wilkesboro, NC on July 15,1932 to Martin James and Linda Nelson Brown.  He was a retired truck driver and was a member of New Beginnings Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, RV was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Reid Brown, son, Richard A. Frye, sister, Fannie Carter, and brothers, Carl and Monroe Brown.

He is survived by his granddaughter, Crystal Parsons of Asheboro; great grandsons, Travis Parsons, Jr. and Dylan Parsons; and sister, Mabel Minnton of North Wilkesboro.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro.  A graveside service will be held on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Rev. Tony Williams officiating.
