Ruth Hilliard Stinson

Mrs. Stinson was born April 27, 1924 in Moore County, North Carolina, the daughter of the late Atlas and Lillie Morrison Hilliard of Asheboro, N.C. and granddaughter of the late Daniel and Lucy Ellen Shields Morrison of Vass, N.C. She died January 14, 2009 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. She was the wife of the late Horace T. Stinson of Siler City, N.C.She is survived by brothers: James and wife, Marion Hilliard of Greensboro, N.C., Louis and wife, Ec Hilliard of Asheboro, N.C.; sisters: Hazel and husband, Robert Ridge, Pat Luther, Betty and husband, Richard Lyndon, all of Asheboro, N.C; son: Dan and wife, Jean Stinson of Bear Creek, N.C.; daughters: Shirley and husband, Hyatt Grissom of Troy, N.C., Linda and husband, Earl Barker of Troy, N.C., Pat and husband, Bill G.
