Ruth Hannah Shaw

Ruth Hannah Shaw, age 85, of 1026 Pekin Rd., Troy died Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at FirstHealth Moore Regional Hospital, Pinehurst.Mrs. Shaw was born January 12, 1924 in Montgomery County, NC, the daughter of John G and Mae (Lammonds) Hannah. She attended Cornerstone Baptist Church of Biscoe. She was a former employee of Collins & Aikman Corporation. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Calvin Shaw . She is survived by one daughter: Brenda Shaw Tucker and husband, Donald of Troy; one sister: Inez Spurrier of Charlotte; 1 granddaughter and 2 great-granddaughters.The family will receive friends Friday from 6 - 8 PM at Cornerstone Baptist Church, 303 Lambert Rd., Biscoe; other times at the home. The funeral will be Saturday at 2:00 pm at Cornerstone Baptist Church with Dr. Eddie McPeters and Pastor Steve Dixon officiating.
