Ruth Anne Stevenson Sampson

Ruth Anne Stevenson Sampson, age 85, of Asheboro died Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at the Randolph Hospice House. Mrs. Sampson was a native of LaVale, Maryland. She had lived in Dade City, Florida for the past 30 years and just recently moved to Asheboro, NC. Ruth was a member of Richland Baptist Church in Zephyrhills, Florida where she was very active in Bible study. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents David and Carrie Stoker Stephenson and husband Oliver Kenneth Sampson. She is survived by her sons, David Sampson and wife Mary of Asheboro and their daughter Shannon McKaughn and husband Mark, Shawn Sampson and wife Amy of Canton, Kenneth Sampson and wife Mary of Clyde, OH and their son Aaron Sampson, Carey Sampson of Monogohela, PA and his children Carrie Sampson, Josh Sampson and wife Christine and Matthew Sampson; 7 great grandchildren; and niece Edith Young and husband Bud of Waynesburg, PA. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2015 at 11:00 am at Neighbors Grove Wesleyan Church, 1928 N. Fayetteville St., Asheboro with Pastor Wyatt Hoogkamp officiating.
