Ruth Alice Rich

Ruth Alice Hinshaw Rich, age 82, of 362 Star Court, Asheboro died Saturday, November 20, 2010 at Woodland Hill Care & Rehabilitation, Asheboro. Mrs. Rich was born June 8, 1928 the daughter of Roby and Dora Luck Hinshaw. Ruth was a native of Randolph County and attended Fayetteville Street Baptist Church. She worked for many years at Asheboro Hosiery Mill and then with Bost Neckware. She was a 25 year cancer survivor and is preceded in death by her husband: Thomas Franklin Rich. She is survived by: one son: Joe Rich of Asheboro, NC; one daughter and her husband: Carolyn and Mike Luther of Asheboro, NC; 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 23, 1010 from 10:00-10:45 AM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The Graveside Service will follow at 11:00 AM in Randolph Memorial Park with Dr. Bruce Dickerson and Rev. Adrain Pugh officiating.
