Ruth Souther Hussey

Ruth Souther Hussey, age 83, of 1035 S. Church St., Apt. 1B, Asheboro died Wednesday, May 19, 2010 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. A graveside service will be held on Friday, May 21, 2010 at 2:00 PM at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Rev. Garry Arnett officiating. Ms. Hussey was a native of Greensboro, was retired from Commonwealth Hosiery and was formerly employed with Acme-McCrary Corporation and Dor-Lin Hosiery. Ruth was preceded in death by her daughter Sondra Johnson, sister Nancy Hancock, and brother Jack Souther. She is survived by her very good friend, Bill Ledwell of Asheboro; grandsons, Shane Ray Musselwhite and Travis Lyle Musselwhite both of Ramseur; great granddaughter, Shanna M. Musselwhite of Ramseur; sisters, Margaret Spencer of Ramseur, Dorothy Hoover of Huntsville, AL, Katie Teague of Coleridge, Barbara Wilson of Lexington, and Brenda Joyce of Bolivia, NC. The family will receive friends Friday from 12:30 - 1:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
