Ruth Reid Brown

Ruth Reid Brown, age 79, of 540 Miller Rd., Lot 2, Asheboro died Wednesday, November 4, 2009 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. A graveside service will be held Saturday, November 7, 2009 at 2:00 pm at Randolph Memorial Park with Rev. Don Ashley officiating. Mrs. Brown was a native of Madison, NC and retired from the furniture industry. She is survived by her husband, R. V. Brown; son, Richard A. Frye of Asheboro; sisters, Christine Kimel of Rural Hall, Shirley Reid of King; brother, Roy Lee Reid of Madison; 1 grandchild. The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
