Ruth Robinson Boyce

Ruth Robinson Boyce, age 96, of Asheboro passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2017 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation.

Mrs. Boyce was born in Troy, NC on March 7, 1921 to Daniel Lee and L. Ella Morris Robinson. She was formerly employed with J.P. Stevens and attended Sophia Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Cary Franklin Boyce, son, Jerry Boyce, and sister, Ida Gibson. Ruth was a sweet and kind lady who was a friend to all.

She is survived by her niece and caregiver, Patricia Cagle of Randleman.

Mrs. Boyce's body will lie in state on Wednesday, November 29, 2017 from 1:00-5:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue in Asheboro.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2017 at 11:00 am at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro.
