Rufine Beane

Lessie Rufine Sykes Beane, age 80, of Asheboro died Saturday, August 3, 2013 at Forsyth Medical Center, Winston- Salem. Mrs. Beane was born March 11, 1933 the daughter of Jesse Paige and Eula Agnes Yow Sykes. Rufine was a native of Randolph County, retired from First National Bank and Trust, Asheboro and a member of First Assembly of Asheboro. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Forrest Yow Beane, daughter: Karen Beane Stevens and her brother: Tony Sykes. She is survived by: son and his wife: Dwaine and Crystal Beane of Asheboro, NC; one daughter and her husband: Leslie and Pastor Bryant Madren of Tobaccoville, NC; granddaughter and her husband: Devon and Travis Bryson; granddaughter and her husband, LeChelle and Randy Smith; granddaughter and her husband: Emily and Vince Lopez; granddaughter: Caroline Jackson; grandson: Isaac Madren; 2 step grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, 2 step great grandchildren; one sister: Garlene Sykes Rich of Asheboro, NC and one brother: David Leon Sykes of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends Monday, August 5, 2013 from 6 to 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Tuesday at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro with Pastor Bryant Madren officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery, Asheboro.
