Ruby Davis Tickle

Ruby Davis Tickle, age 87, of 230 East Presnell Street, Asheboro died Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation, Asheboro. Mrs. Tickle was born May 20, 1923 in Guilford County, the daughter of Furman and Irene Smith Davis. Ruby was a native of Guilford County and formerly worked in textiles. She is survived by a sister in law; Viola Davis of Randleman, NC, 4 nephews and 3 nieces. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 4, 2011 from 9:30-10:30 AM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. Gravesides services will follow at 11:00 AM, at New Salem United Methodist Church Cemetery, 623 New Salem Church Road, Randleman with Rev. Bernie Dougherty officiating.
