Ruby Ann Thompson

Ruby Ann Dougan Thompson, age 69, of 1238 Jerico Rd, Asheboro died Monday, April 2, 2012 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mrs. Thompson was born November 3, 1942 in Asheboro to Stanton and Nettie Ann Harrilson Dougan. She worked in retail management and loved collecting antique depression glass items and painting when able. Ruby was a loving wife and friend to many. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Michael R. Thompson, III. She is survived by her husband, Michael Roy Thompson, Jr.; sisters, Linda Carver of TN, Mary Bright of MI, Eva Mae Summerall of FL and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Friday, April 6, 2012 from 5:00-6:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. A memorial service will follow at 6:00 pm in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Aaron Robbins officiating. Memorials may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society, 2211 W.
