Ruby Fay Lawrence, age 66, of 1844 Brittany Trail, Pleasant Garden died Wednesday, October 22, 2008 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital, Greensboro. Mrs. Lawrence was born August 10, 1942 at Bald Knob, ARK the daughter of Emerson and Bonnie Jones Rains. Mrs. Lawrence was a native of Bald Knob, Ark. and enjoyed people and her job at Wal-Mart. Everyone knew her as "Mama Fay". She also liked working in her flowers, crocheting and pictures.Mrs. Lawrence is preceded in death by her parents, Emerson and Bonnie Rains and her brother, Joe Rains. She is survived by her husband: Richard H. Lawrence; Son, Richard and his wife Lori Lawrence of Pleasant Garden; daughter Linda and her husband, Timothy Dalton of Asheboro; son, Robert and his wife, Elizabeth Lawrence of Columbia, PA; son, Ronnie and his wife, Phyllis Lawrence of Orlando, FL.;son, Randall Scott Lawrence of Sneads, NC; son Charles "Chuck" and his wife, Pam Lawrence of Climax; son, Lee and his wife, Andrea Lawrence of Pleasant Garden; brother, David and his wife, Kathy Rains; sister, Corrine and her husband John Merckley; brother, Scott and his wife, Lori Rains; brother, Mike and his wife, Starla Rains. Sisters: Margaret McDonald, Brenda Sue Moon, Madeline Beishl, Hattie Marie Boles and brother: Glenn Rains.18 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren that she loved so much. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 25, 2008 from 12:00 - 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 S. Main St., Randleman, NC. The funeral will be held Saturday, October 25, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman with Rev. Michael Owen officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Memorial Gardens.
