Ruby Andrews Johnson

Ruby Andrews Johnson, age 61, of 1195 Pineview Road, Asheboro died Sunday, August 29, 2010 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Mrs. Johnson was born January 23, 1949 in Troy, NC, the daughter of John and Ida Goins Brown. She was a former machine operator at Technimark. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and three brothers. She is survived by five daughters: Sherrill McLean, Jessica Poole, Cynthia Genito, Donna Woodard and Samantha McLean, all of Asheboro; two sons: Perry Cagle and John Cagle, both of Asheboro; three brothers: Jesse Andrews of Bristol, TN, James Andrews of Troy, Floyd Andrews of Robbins; 16 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6-8 pm at Pugh-Troy Funeral Home, 211 North Main Street, Troy; other times at the home of Roger and Renee Callicutt of 117 Primrose Drive, Troy. The funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 pm at Troy Pentecostal Holiness Church, Bilhen Street, Troy with Pastor Darren Richardson officiating. Burial will be in Southside Cemetery, Troy.
