Ruby Spencer Foster

Ruby Spencer Foster, age 94, formerly of 1013 S. Cox St., Asheboro died Sunday, November 11, 2012 at the Randolph Hospice House. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 from 12:30-1:45 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Funeral services will follow on Tuesday at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Thomas Smith officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park. Mrs. Foster was born in Mayodan, NC on June 10, 1918 to Marvin and Lucy Bullins Spencer. She was retired from General Electric after 28 years of service. In addition to her parents, Ruby was preceded in death by her husband Colon Foster and siblings Beatrice Spencer, Pauline Rich, Iris Robbins, and Maude Goins. She is survived by her son, Don Foster of Asheboro, NC; daughter-in-law, Carolyn Foster of Asheboro, NC; grandchildren, Keith Foster, Jeff Foster, Karen Foster, Sharon Foster; great grandchildren, Tabatha Lewis, Carrie Knox, Joseph Foster, Leslie Anne Foster, Marwan Harouach, Austin Reed, Brittany Reed; great great grandchildren, Connor Knox, Gavin Knox, Cayson Lewis; and brother, Bobby Spencer of Asheboro, NC.
