Ruby Beal Davis

Ruby Beal Davis, age 82, of 1633 Foxfire Rd., Asheboro died Wednesday, May 6, 2009 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 9, 2009 at 11:00 am at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev. Thurman Williams and Pastor Boyd Byerly officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park. Mrs. Davis was a native of Moore County and previously employed by Klopman Mills and then Wells Hosiery. She was an active and loving member of Mountain of Faith Christian Church where she was a member of the Ladies Fellowship. Mrs. Davis enjoyed working in her flowers and shopping. She was so very much loved by all her family, church family and friends. Mrs. Davis was preceded in death by her husbands, William Ralph Yow and Carl H. Davis. She is survived by her daughter, Susan Usher and her husband Bill of Asheboro; sisters, Louise Hunt of Asheboro, Betty Williamson and her husband Herbert of Seagrove, Ruth Hellinger of Aberdeen, Linda Haithcock and her husband Jamie of Supply; brother, Johnny Beal and his wife Brenda of Franklinville; grandchildren, Annette Wright of Asheboro, Bobby Needham, Jr. of Asheboro; step grandchildren, Carlette, Ricky and Carla; 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; special little dog, Keisha and some very special friends. The family will receive friends Friday, May 8, 2009 from 6 - 8 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, other times at the home of Louise Hunt, 3348 Staleys Farm Rd., Asheboro.
