Ruby Cope Calloway

Ruby Cope Calloway, 99, of 7166 Jordan Rd., Ramseur, NC died Monday March 22, 2010 at Universal Health Care, Ramseur. Funeral services will be held 11 am Friday at the First Evangelical & Reformed United Church of Christ where she was a charter member. The Reverends Dale Kennedy and Marion Smith will officiate. Burial will be at Randolph Memorial Park. She was a native of Davie County, NC, and employed by Acme-McCrary and Belk department store. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Calloway. Surviving are daughters, Barbara Prugh of Brevard, NC and Martha Sheriff and husband Tom of Asheboro; granddaughters, Susan Hagen and husband Mike Hagen, Amy Hopper and husband Marty Hopper and Kim Wall and husband Chris Wall and grandson Johnny Prugh; great-grandchildren, Katie Hagen, Molly Hopper and Nathan Wall.
