Roy Odell Jordan

Roy Odell Jordan, age 64, of 4228 US Hwy. 220 Bus. South, Asheboro died Thursday, March 17, 2011 in Seagrove. Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 21, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wayne VunCannon officiating. Burial will follow in the Huldah Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Jordan was born in Randolph County on August 18, 1946 to Henry Clyde and Edith Latham Jordan. He was a U.S. Army veteran and was employed as a land surveyor. In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by his brother Darrell Jordan and his sister Nancy Shanas. He is survived by his wife, Donna Lynne Bowers Jordan; stepson, Chris Johnson and his wife Wendy of Siler City, NC; grandson, Aidan Johnson of Siler City, NC; and brother, Larry Jordan of Asheville, NC. The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 20, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
