Roy Draughn

Roy Draughn, age 74, of 2392 Woodridge Dr., Asheboro died Sunday, February 20, 2011 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Johnny R. Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park. Mr. Draughn was a native of Randolph County and was a member of the National Guard. He owned and operated Draughn Radiator for over 25 years and was a loyal employee of Auto Supply for over 15 years. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Hodgin Draughn; son, Roy Lee Draughn and his wife Amy of Cary, NC; grandson, Jacob Draughn; granddaughter, Emma Draughn; brothers, William Draughn and Douglas Draughn both of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 23, 2011 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Memorials may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
