Roy Columbus Brower, age 91, of 3334 U.S. Hwy 220 Bus. S., Asheboro died Thursday, February 14, 2008 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 17, 2008 at 2:00 PM at Oakhurst Baptist Church, 2225 South Fayetteville Street, Asheboro with Rev. Mitchell Walker and Dr. Richard Crider officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro. Mr. Brower was a native of Franklinville and was retired from Acme-McCrary Corporation after 45 years of service. He was a member of Oakhurst Baptist Church. He loved his grandchildren, his garden and his church. He is survived by his wife, Gladys Saunders Brower; daughters, Sybil Williamson of Asheboro, NC and Karen Brown of Raleigh, NC; 6 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
