Rosa Mae Phillips Harden

Rosa Mae Phillips Harden, age 64, of 49663 Bobwhite Lane, New London died Sunday, February 12, 2012 at Stanly Regional Medical Center in Albemarle. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2012 at 4:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert Armstrong officiating. Ms. Harden was born in Wake County, NC and grew up in Asheboro. She was retired from the hosiery industry and was of the Baptist faith. Rosa was preceded in death by her mother Evelyn Phillips Glasgow, her brother Roger Dale Glasgow, and her sisters Sandra Kay Fox and Wanda Sue Alston. She is survived by her daughters, Tammy King Allen and her husband Doug of New London, NC, Tracey King Marshall of New London, NC; grandchildren, Casey Phillips and her fiancée John Petty, Teddi Greene and her husband Adam, Emma-Lee Allen, Heather Pickett, and Alex Jones; 3 great grandchildren; brother, David Glasgow of Asheboro, NC; sisters, Evelyn Gail Rollins of Thomasville, NC, Shirley King and her husband Jimmie of Randleman, NC, and Janice Glasgow Hinson and her husband Craig of Asheboro, NC. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 15, 2012 from 7:00-9:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at the home of Tammy and Doug Allen, 49663 Bobwhite Lane, New London. In lieu of flowers the family requests that loved ones plant living greenery in her memory.
