Ronald Joseph Werner

Ronald Joseph Werner, age 66, of Asheboro died Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center, Winston- Salem. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, February 1, 2011 at 2:00 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. Werner was born January 2, 1945 in Hammond, IN and the son of the late Joseph and Mary Ann Chariton Werner. Ron was a graduate of Carmel High School, Carmel, IN and Indiana University School of Business. He was retired from the furniture industry and was an outdoorsman who enjoyed boating, fishing and hunting. Mr. Werner also enjoyed playing the guitar and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife, Brenda Werner of Asheboro and daughter, Dr. Elizabeth Werner of Troy, Michigan. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Ave., Asheboro.
