Ronald Eugene McDaniel

Ronald Eugene McDaniel, age 71, of 653 Peachtree Street, Asheboro died Saturday, September 10, 2011 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mr. McDaniel was born October 23, 1939 in Moore County, NC the son of Willie Eugene and Ressie Cockman McDaniel. Ronald was a native of Moore County and was formerly employed as a diesel mechanic. He was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Ressie McDaniel, late wife, Nancy B. McDaniel, and brother, James Floyd "Jimmy" McDaniel. Mr. McDaniel is survived by his long-time companion: Oteen Boykin of Asheboro; son: Ronald Darren McDaniel of Asheboro; grandson, Ronald Griffin McDaniel of Greensboro; brother: Billy McDaniel and his wife, Linda of Randleman, sister: Edwina Britt and her husband, Bobby of Robbins and sister in law: Charlene McDaniel of Randleman. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 13, 2011 from 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. A graveside service will follow at Oaklawn Cemetery, 737 Albemarle Road, Asheboro at 2:00 PM with Rev. Gerald Hussey officiating. Memorials may be made to Hospice Of Randolph, P.O.
