Ronald Edison Brown

Ronald Edison Brown, age 61, of 823 Green Farm Rd., Asheboro died Sunday, August 5, 2012 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mr. Brown was born August 12, 1950 to George Edison and Gladys Routh Brown. Ronald loved the outdoors, duck hunting, fishing at the coast and competitive shooting. He was a former greens keeper at Asheboro Country Club. He is survived by his wife, Lee Lewis Brown; son, Chris Edison Brown and his wife Amy of Millboro; parents, Gladys Routh and George Edison Brown of Millboro; grandchildren, Cash Brown and Halie Hancock; sisters, Janice Julian and her husband Edwin of Millboro, Teresa Richardson and her husband Gary of Climax. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 8, 2012 from 10:00-11:00am at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro and other times at his parent's home at 2838 Mack Lineberry Rd., Franklinville. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 11:00 am at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Pat Dixon officiating. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Hospice of Randolph, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204-0009. The family wishes to thank the staff of Randolph Hospice House for the excellent care given to Ronald during his illness.
