Roland Benjamin Sierra, age 12, of 632 Hillary Ct., Asheboro died Saturday, February 19, 2011. The family will receive friends on Thursday, February 24, 2011 from 3:00-6:00 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Funeral services will follow on Thursday, February 24, 2011 at 6:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel. Roland was born in Chapel Hill, NC and was a student at Southwestern Randolph Middle School. He is survived by his mother and step father, Maria Sierra and Sergio Rubio; brothers, Jose Sierra, Johnathan Sierra, Giovanni Rubio, Yasmin Rubio; sister, Cecilia Sierra; grandmother, Eva Guerrero; and aunt, Beatriz Hernandez.
