Rodena Jane McCorquodale

Rodena Johnson McCorquodale, age 91, formerly of Franklinville died Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at Grand Strand Nursing Center, Myrtle Beach.

Mrs. McCorquodale was born May 1, 1927 NC the daughter of Vaughn and Annie Johnson. Rodena was a native of Guilford County and a graduate of Sumner High School in 1944. She was formerly employed with Jefferson Pilot, Klopman Mills and the bookkeeper for Mac's Plumbing. She was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church. In addition to her parents, Rodena is preceded in death by her husband Ellsworth McCorquodale and her daughter, Rhonda Karen McCorquodale, brother Robert Johnson and special brother-in-law, Roger Martin.

She is survived by her sister Henrietta Martin of Myrtle Beach, SC and her brother: Tommy Johnson and wife Janet of Franklinville.

The family will receive friends Friday, August 17, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will be held Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 11:00 am at Bethany United Methodist Church, 3650 Bethany Church Road, Franklinville with Jeremiah Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
