Robert Adam Parnell

Robert Adam Parnell, age 43, of Biscoe died Friday, May 3, 2013 at his home. Robert was born March 28, 1970 at Troy, NC, the son of Bobby Blue Parnell and Myra Nicholson Parnell Taylor. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Troy and a fifteen year log inspector for Troy Lumber Company. Robert loved photography, art and landscaping. He was a great friend. He is survived by his mother, Myra Taylor and husband, Frederick H. of Troy; his father, Bobby Parnell and wife, Judy of Albemarle; sister: Ellen Parnell Peterson and husband, Bill of Candor; stepsister: Louisa A. Taylor of Greensboro; stepbrother: Fred L. Taylor and wife, Melissa of Biscoe; nieces: Isabella Lauver and Emma Taylor; nephew: Harrison Taylor. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 7, 2013 from 12:30 pm - 1:45 pm at First Baptist Church, 401 E. Main Street, Troy; other times at the home Myra and Fred Taylor, 1907 Capelsie Road, Candor. A Celebration of Life service will follow at 2:00 pm with Dr. Phillips McRae officiating.
