Robert "Op" Jordan, age 51, of Asheboro died Saturday, February 21, 2015 at his home. Mr. Jordan was born July 23, 1963 in Asheboro the son of the late E. David and Roberta Jordan. "Op" owned and operated A-1 Sheet Metal, and loved drag racing cars in his spare time. He is survived by his mother: Roberta Jordan of Asheboro; brother: David L. Jordan and his wife Lesia of Asheboro; children Timmy Lee Cox; Jennifer Spier and Brandon Cox; 9 grandchildren; and 2 nephews, Daniel and Richard Jordan. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 24, 2015 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC, and at other times at his mother's home, 1849 Sewell Drive, Asheboro. A graveside service will be held Wednesday, February 25th at 1:00 PM at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Rev. Mark Wilburn and Pastor Daniel Jordan officiating.
