Robert Dale Fogleman

Robert Dale Fogleman, age 72, of Sophia died Monday, April 8, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Winston- Salem.

Mr. Fogleman was born November 18, 1946 the son of Dewitt and Moleta Dennis Fogleman. Robert was a native of Randolph County and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a loving, caring father and always willing to help others. Robert enjoyed being outdoors, fishing and building grandfather clocks. He always enjoyed striking up a conversion with another veteran. In addition to his parents, Robert is preceded in death by his brothers, Jack, "Ole Boy", J.W., Bud and Doc Fogleman; sisters, Sarah Carter, Sernia Lamb, Margene Briles, Deann Julian and Dorothy Jenkins.

He is survived by his wife: Glenda Fogleman of the home; daughters: Kim Russell of Randleman and Terrah Lewis (Bryant) of Stoneville; stepson: David Lineberry (Amy) of Climax;8 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sisters, Nancy Morgan of Seagrove and Judy Walker of Randleman.

The family will receive friends Thursday, April 11, 2019 from 12:00-1:45 pm at Unity Baptist Fellowship Church, 4918 old Marlboro Rd., Sophia, NC 27350. The funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm with Rev. Jimmy Kiker officiating. Burial will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro with military rites performed by Randolph County Honor Guard.
