Robert Marshall Finch

Robert Marshall Finch, age 68, of 1222 Pepperidge Road, Asheboro died Friday, October 29, 2010 at his home. Funeral services will be held on Sunday, October 31, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Chaplain Tim Pheagin officiating. Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery. Mr. Finch was a native of Oxford, NC and was a U.S. Navy veteran. He was retired as an electrician with General Electric and Black & Decker and was of the Methodist faith. He is survived by his wife, Mary Lacy Hannon Finch; daughter, Shannon Canter of Asheboro, NC; son, Dr. John R. Finch and his wife Meghan E. Finch of Lexington, NC; grandchildren, Sandra Jayes of Asheboro, NC, Katie Boehme of Berlin, Germany; great grandchildren, Julie Lewis of Asheboro, NC, Emily Jayes of Asheboro, NC, and Lea Boehme of Berlin, Germany. The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 30, 2010 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Memorials may be made to the Randolph Cancer Center, 373 N.
