Robert Daniel "Bobby" Delk

Robert Daniel "Bobby" Delk, age 62, of Asheboro died Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at the Randolph Hospice House. Mr. Delk was a native of Randolph County and a 1971 graduate of Asheboro High School. He was formerly employed in construction. Bobby enjoyed fishing, reading, working crossword puzzles, and eating ice cream. He is survived by his son, Jeremy "Adam" Delk of Greensboro; parents, Charles "Red" and Carolyn Delk of Asheboro; siblings, Charles Delk, Jr. and wife Sarah, Mark Delk and wife Holly, Karen Prillaman and husband Kent, Ken Delk all of Asheboro, and Scott Delk and wife Michelle of Randleman; 8 nieces and nephews and extended family. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 14, 2015 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, 4-A Oak Branch Drive, Greensboro NC 27407 or to the charity of the donor's choice.
