Robert Chisholm

Beloved husband and father, Robert "Bob" Milton Chisholm, passed away peacefully on November 5, 2011 at Rex Hospital, Raleigh, NC after a period of declining health. Bob proudly worked for First Citizens Bank for 38 years and achieved the position of Senior Vice President by the time he retired in 1996. He loved the outdoors and had a passion for hunting and fishing. He is a past President of the "Crow Hunters Club in Dunn, NC". He met his wife, Jacqueline Crickmore Chisholm when they both were employed at Belk in Asheboro. He was a wonderful provider and best friend to his wife, Jackie. Together they raised two daughters, both of whom made them proud and brought them great joy. Bob was preceded in death by his parents: James Frank and Irma King Chisholm of Ramseur and a brother: James Frank Chisholm, Jr. of South Carolina. He is survived by his best friend and loving wife of 57 years, Jacqueline "Jackie" Crickmore Chisholm of Cary, daughters: Susan Chisholm Bailey and her husband, Jim of Greensboro and Janet Chisholm Lessig and her husband, Michael of Cary; four grandchildren: Andrew Chisholm Hayes, Haley Elizabeth Lessig, London Gayle Bailey and Lauren Bailey Crawford whom he dearly loved. The family will receive friends Monday, November 7, 2011 from 6:30 to 8:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, November 8, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Sunset Knoll Cemetery, Ramseur with Rev. Talmadge Williams officiating.
