Richard Dale Wallace

Richard Dale Wallace, Sr., age 66, of Asheboro died Friday, February 1, 2013 at the Randolph Hospice House. The family will receive friends on Monday, February 4, 2013 from 11:00 AM-12:00 noon at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. Funeral services will follow on Monday at 12:00 noon at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Johnny R. Henderson officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hill Memorial Park in Lexington. Mr. Wallace was born in Lexington, NC on April 19, 1946 to Floyd Lee and Leila Young Wallace. He was a truck driver. Richard loved his old pickup, trains, his grandkids, and spending time with his friends from The Heritage Cafe. In addition to his father, Richard was preceded in death by his brother Glenn Wallace. He is survived by his wife, Janett F. Wallace; sons, Richard Dale Wallace, Jr. and his fiance Belinda Tillman of Asheboro, Jeffrey Wallace and his wife Kendra of Asheboro; grandchildren, Kayla, Logan, and Grant; mother, Leila Wallace of Lexington; brother, Floyd Lee Wallace, Jr. and his wife Gail of Lexington; sister, Patricia Owen and her husband Doug of Lexington; and sister-in-law, Melody Wallace of Lexington.
