Richard Henry Skaggs

Richard Henry "Rick" Skaggs, age 72, of 151 King Rd., Apt. 4-B, Ramseur died Monday, September 27, 2010 at Randolph Health & Rehabilitation, Asheboro. A private memorial service will be held. Mr. Skaggs was born December 22, 1937 in Gauley Bridge, WV to Arba Clifford and Thelma Jane Whittington Skaggs. Rick was a loving brother and wonderful uncle. He enjoyed the outdoors, loved the rain, and had a strong knowledge of reading and football. He was always a loving, caring, special person to whoever had the privilege to meet him and he will be sadly missed by all. He was the beloved brother of Jerry and Kenneth Skaggs both of Maryland; sister, Sandra Jones of North Carolina; nieces, Michelle Rich of North Carolina and Cindy Skaggs of Maryland; nephews, Bryan and Scott Jones both of North Carolina; great nieces, Ashley, Courtney and Alex all of North Carolina and Kaydence of West Virginia. He joined his mother and father and nephews, Gregory and Warren Skaggs all together in the golden gates of Heaven. Arrangements by Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro
