Richard Charles "Dick" Scheid

Richard Charles "Dick" Scheid, age 75, of Asheboro died Thursday, August 29, 2019 at his home.

Dick was born August 28, 1944, he was a member of Balfour Baptist Church and an active member of the Gideon's International Organization. Dick was formerly employed as a supervisor in the construction field. He was a self-made entrepreneur and a faithful volunteer at CUOC. Dick was preceded in death by his son: Randall Lee Scheid.

He is survived by his wife of 41 years: Rosalyn Davidson Scheid; stepdaughter: Stephanie Lewis of Asheboro; son: Jim Scheid of Burlington; stepson: Bryan Hodge of Asheboro; grandchildren: Nicole Scheid, Dakota Hodge and Devan Hodge; brother: Don Hocker of Prairie, Iowa.

A private service will be held at a later date.
